Smock Making Workshop - Saturday 19th January 2019

A relaxing morning of Smock making in the Bug Clothing studio

A great opportunity to learn some basic pattern cutting/sewing and construction skills. To make yourself your very own pocketed Linen work Smock, or the chance to make somebody a gift! If you are buying this class as a gift for somebody else, please get in touch after purchase with their details. This workshop is suitable and open to all genders. Ages 18+ only.

No experience with pattern cutting or sewing necessary, all levels welcome

In a small, intimate group of 3, we will choose a smock size that best suits you - or the person you might be making the smock for. You will then be able to choose a Linen or Cotton from the selection of colours and weights we have already in the studio, then we will cut out and sew up the smock. Each person will receive a page of sewing instructions and will leave with a smock that they made themselves! We have both domestic and industrial sewing machines within the studio, although I encourage you to test your own skills, I will be there to help out with each step.

Saturday 19th January 2019. The day will begin (promptly) at 10.30 and end at 14.00

Bug Clothing Studio, 5 Crown Close, Hackney Wick, E3 2JQ

Refreshments such as tea + coffee, as well as all tools, materials and supplies.
